Haul from Muji

Here's my latest buy from Muji. I wanted a smaller container for my lotion so I could bring it with me everywhere. I originally wanted a bigger one but then the purpose of the container is to literally bring it everywhere so I picked this small tube. It's so small that it's just a bit longer than a lipstick tube.

I cleaned it and transferred my lotion and voila. I also bought the mini tools for transferring stuff.  The first one is a mini spatula to transfer creams, the middle one is a mini funnel to transfer liquids to s container with a smaller opening. Lastly, a cute mini dropper to transfer liquids - probably perfumes. It's only PHP65 and the container is PHP55. I can't wait to use my mini lotion!

Happy Sunday everyone!

Gifts from Singapore

I got pasalubongs from my parents who just got back from a business trip from Singapore. I love shopping there more than anywhere else because they always have sales and the people there are very friendly and accommodating. I got a bit jealous when I knew that they were going back there. Hehe. My mom texted me what I wanted from Singapore and told her to buy some flats for me. Although her taste is a bit mommy-ish, she knows what I want and I love her for that.

She got me some corporate-ish but still fancy flats from Clarks. We love Clarks! Some of the designs from Clarks are truly old fashioned but sometimes they come up with great styles that are very "useable". These shoes are so sturdy. I had these Clarks shoes before and they are truly wonderful. Super soft on your feet and I could walk in these everyday.

This is what my mom got for me:

Not only that, she also got me a cool cardigan-ish from Marks and Spencer because they were still on sale and that is my mom's favorite store!

Paired it with my favorite black heels
Paired it with my new black flats
My mom did not only include that, she also bought me authentic Jade earrings which could hopefully bring me goodluck and wealth. Thanks mom!

She bought it at Madame Butterfly
Really happy with my parents' pasalubong and I can't wait to go back to Singapore!

Have a happy Sunday and keep smiling :)

It reminds me of the Miu Miu shop I saw last month in Singapore. I miss.

New Zara Bag (Gift)

My cousin's wife sent me a package today along with other stuff for my parents and I was really surprised with what she sent me. I instantly fell in love.
It's a navy blue shoulder bag which is so versatile and I could use it in almost any outfit. I could pair it with heels or Converse shoes. I also love the metal buckle in front.
It's very roomy inside and could fit my giant wallet and other essentials. The only drawback is the strap isn't adjustable.
Old Navy Top - Marks & Spencer Cardigan - Jeans from SM - Bag from Zara (gift)

I love my Old Navy top! I love the contrast of the colors!

Have a nice Monday! :)

Movie Review: Repo Men

I watched Repo Men last night and it was fantastic. Some people might not like it because it's bloody - very bloody, but I don't mind since I rarely cringe at the sight of blood but only in movies! Hehe.

Anyway, it was nice to see Jude Law again in a movie along with Forest Whitaker. Jude Law's body in this movie is just super! I love it! I recommend this movie to anyone who loves a good action movie. The story, concept, effects and twists are awesome. If you liked The Tourist, you'll like this too!

Here are some posters and the trailer:
Love these witty and funny posters

Got My Student Permit - for the second time!

I'm currently watching Remember Me with Robert Pattinson, Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan and the cute Ruby Jerins. I've watched half of it and enjoying it very much.

Anyway, got my student's permit this afternoon! Yey! So happy! I got my student's license before through A1 but they made me go all the way to San Juan (I think) for my permit. I remember it being old and too crowded so I decided to get it on my own. I went to the the LTO near Rockwell - maybe 5-8 minutes away from Rockwell. I remember passing by A.Venue. Anyway, When I got there, it wasn't very crowded. We even got parking space and there were a lot of vacant seats. Fully air-conditioned and very effective staff - except for one who's very masungit.

I just brought a photocopy of my birth certificate and PHP317.63 and amazingly, it took me around 15-20 minutes for the entire thing. By the way, when you're getting your student's permit, no drug test is required compared to a non-pro license.

I'm very happy with the service of LTO in Makati and I hope I could get my non-pro license that fast too - which I highly doubt! :))

Here's the permit:

Movie Review: The Tourist

I watched The Tourist first day it came out in the Philippines. I've heard and read a lot of bad reviews about this movie. Some even say that it's a flop in other countries. But still, I wouldn't miss an Angelina Jolie x Johnny Depp movie. I watched it with the BF. Here are some poster photos and BTS photos from the movie.
Please click photos for photo sources
After watching the movie, I now know why it's a flop in other countries. My friend said it best - "hindi nila kinaya yung ending". Until the last few minutes, you'll be clueless - completely clueless. Overall, I enjoyed the movie. A movie this unpredictable and well-made is the reason why I started loving movies. I suggest you watch it.

Until now, I'm still drooling over AJ's outfits, jewelry and beauty. As for JD - his look is still the same but it works for me. I love the tandem. It was so unrealistically real. Haha!

Here's the trailer in case you haven't seen it yet -

New Shoes from Aldo

Here's a quick post because I'm so sleepy because I woke up at 7AM for some school errands and will still have to come back tomorrow for one more round. Good luck to me.

Anyway, I got some new shoes from Aldo through Purse & Co. which I have already mentioned in my previous post. Just got my order this morning and they fit perfectly.

I love the buckles and the lace features. My friend said that the buckle was a nice touch so you don't have to untie the laces. Ditto!

When you look at it front view, they look like boots-girly boots but when you look at it from the side, it's completely different - very girly and very sophisticated! I love it. Can't wait to rock these!

What do you think?

Haul from the Mango Sale

I went to Rockwell yesterday to meet my friend and we both ended up buying sale items from Mango. It's a Monday so we had the store to ourselves. It was so much easier to shop compared to weekends because there's really just a few shoppers. I got two tops.

This is the first one - it's so simple because of it's color but the strap on the side sold me the top. It reminds me of a straitjacket. Haha! I love it! Can't wait to accessorize it!

My second buy is somewhat edgy. It has chains and ruffles. Hmm. Doesn't sound nice but it's soo great! It's so comfy and I also love the print. Check out the pictures!

Plain tee is only 990 from 2250. Savings = 1260

Chained tee from 2450 to 1290. Savings = 1160
Total savings = 1260 + 1160 = 2420
Not bad!

So glad with my Mango haul! I'm trying not to go back soon. Haha!
Have a happy Tuesday!
Happy new year!
