Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Berry Rich (Creme)

As of today, I own 6 Super Lustrous Lipstick from Revlon. I'm super happy with all of them and the newest addition to my collection is Berry Rich. I got this from my Duty Free trip last week. Though they only have a few colors for the Super Lustrous line, I'm happy I got the Berry Rich lipstick. It's a muted red, more like the color or red wine. It's not too loud like my Chanel Gabrielle. It's more wearable and more like an everyday lipstick.

I got it for only $7.50 which is definitely cheaper than retail price. YEY!
This is the lip swatch. Used it yesterday to work. The staying power is strong. The whole afternoon it stayed on my lips and was very happy about it. Although after eating, it fades a bit and leaves an outer lipliner-ish stain. The formula is so creamy that it's not too shiny but very moisturizing.

Haul from Duty Free

I was in Duty Free again last week and of course, my favorite section there is the Beauty Walk. There are a lot of brands out there like Chanel, MAC, Clinique, Revlon and others. After buying stuff in the kitchen area, I went to the Beauty Walk and checked out the counters. Here's the stuff I got from my Duty Free trip:

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Twinkled Pink

My auntie from the States came to the Philippines for my brother's wedding and also a mini reunion. When she asked if I wanted anything from the States, I immediately said lipsticks and she did not fail to deliver. I will blog about all the lipsticks she sent me and my mom.

Anyway, one of the lipsticks she gave us was the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Tinkled Pink. It's a bit sheer so you need to apply a few times for maximum color. It's also glittery and a bit frosted. I hesitated at first because I really don't like frosty lipsticks. It looks cheap. But wait..

I look weird here because I was looking at the swivel camera screen haha

The skin swatch didn't do justice to the lipstick. It's actually nice when I want a simple make-up with a bit of pink lips, just like the picture above. I really like it. It's not as creamy as other lipsticks but it's moisturizing and also the color is surprisingly nice. The only problem is that when applying, it must not be overdone because the frost might be too overwhelming.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Ginger Rose

I was in my mom's room, looking for a bigger pouch for my cosmetics when I saw this. Before this month, I really didn't like lipsticks because I think it's a big hassle. I have to reapply, blah blah. But when I tumbled upon the Revlon ColorBurst Lipstick, I got hooked. Then, I tried to search my make up boxes for nice lipsticks. I couldn't find one that would suit my taste so I just bought one more ColorBurst.

I find the ColorBurst lipsticks to be drying my lips and usually it needs to be reapplied after a few hours. I was okay with that until I found this. The color was perfect on me for everyday use and the moisture is just superb. I don't have to worry about drying lips because this is a lipstick+lip balm in one stick. I wish this is still available in stores so I could check out other colors.

Have yo ever had one of these? I bet you do.
