Was browsing through omg.yahoo.com this afternoon when I spotted Kim Kardashian's nude platform heels. After work, I headed home and researched the brand and style. I discovered that these are actually the Christian Louboutin Lady Daf 160mm.
At first when i only saw the front view, I thought they were wedges. After seeing other pictures, the red sole became a giveaway. Too easy.
They are huge! Anywayyy, I also spotted Jamie Chung from Sucker Punch in Nylon's Anniversary Party wearing something similar to Kim K's shoes. Again, the front view tricked me into believing they were the same pair because it turned out to be Giuseppe Zanotti wedges.
From experience, I know that wedges are easier to use because it's more stable - but with this pair, I think it's just as hard as any stiletto. Good luck girlies!
I'm leaning towards the wedges more than the Louboutins because they look chunkier and edgy. On the other hand, the Louboutin heels are for more sophisticated get ups. WAA! But I love them both!!!
Take your pick!

New Shoes from Aldo
Last week, I got the news from Purse and Co. that my orders have arrived. I got so excited because I've been waiting for them for a few months and I just can't wait to wear them. I ordered three pairs for this batch and they are all lovely except for one because of sizing issues.
The first pair I got is Aldo's Creger in Taupe. This is by far the best heels I bought from Aldo because they are super secure and super stable. I love the color, the fit and the style.
The second pair I got are flats and I got to use it today. It's super comfy, casual and versatile. I paired it with a polka-dot black and white dress and I love it! :)
P.S. My toe got injured the other day that's why it looks like that - not dead, but I think it bled. Yock.

EDIT: Okay, more like 90% Creger. Haha.

Now I'm lemming over these pairs. I don't know what to get. I love Creger in Taupe and I'm thinking about getting a pair in black. Or I could get Collicott in either Dark Brown or Bone. Decisions decisions. But I'm so in love with Creger so it's 70% Creger, 30% Collicott. HAHA!

Gifts from Singapore
I got pasalubongs from my parents who just got back from a business trip from Singapore. I love shopping there more than anywhere else because they always have sales and the people there are very friendly and accommodating. I got a bit jealous when I knew that they were going back there. Hehe. My mom texted me what I wanted from Singapore and told her to buy some flats for me. Although her taste is a bit mommy-ish, she knows what I want and I love her for that.
She got me some corporate-ish but still fancy flats from Clarks. We love Clarks! Some of the designs from Clarks are truly old fashioned but sometimes they come up with great styles that are very "useable". These shoes are so sturdy. I had these Clarks shoes before and they are truly wonderful. Super soft on your feet and I could walk in these everyday.
This is what my mom got for me:
Not only that, she also got me a cool cardigan-ish from Marks and Spencer because they were still on sale and that is my mom's favorite store!
My mom did not only include that, she also bought me authentic Jade earrings which could hopefully bring me goodluck and wealth. Thanks mom!
Really happy with my parents' pasalubong and I can't wait to go back to Singapore!
Have a happy Sunday and keep smiling :)

New Shoes from Aldo
Here's a quick post because I'm so sleepy because I woke up at 7AM for some school errands and will still have to come back tomorrow for one more round. Good luck to me.
Anyway, I got some new shoes from Aldo through Purse & Co. which I have already mentioned in my previous post. Just got my order this morning and they fit perfectly.
I love the buckles and the lace features. My friend said that the buckle was a nice touch so you don't have to untie the laces. Ditto!
When you look at it front view, they look like boots-girly boots but when you look at it from the side, it's completely different - very girly and very sophisticated! I love it. Can't wait to rock these!
What do you think?

Stripes from Dorothy Perkins
I have a huge problem. I went to Glorietta and Greenbelt this afternoon and I couldn't find a dress appropriate for a wedding I'm attending next weekend. I went home empty handed so I ransacked my closet and found this. I actually used this to another wedding before. That was a "night" wedding so this is kind of appropriate. This time, the wedding will start at two in the afternoon so I have to find an appropriate dress.
I had a eureka moment when I saw this dress. I forgot to go to Dorothy Perkins to look for a dress. In that store, you can find lots of cute dresses and shoes! I can't wait to go to Rockwell and look for a cute dress. The wedding is this weekend and I HAVE to go because I have finals and papers due next week.
MAJOR. DIET. NEEDED.
Found this other dress in my closet. My boyfriend gave this to me and I love this LBD. Fringes and ruffles all over! I love it! Paired it with a button down loose top and heels.

BCBGirls Platform Wedges
These are way more comfortable than it looks. The inside sole is soft and it also expands depending on your toes. The heel is also comfortable because these are wedges which means you really won't feel that it's 4 inches high.
I will be watching Karate Kid later. Let's see if I will wear this one or my Schutz heels. :)
Thoughts?
