I know I've been out of the circulation for a while because I was super busy and well, I kind of lost inspiration to write.
Anyway, I'm back and ready! First of all, since I have an obsession with shoes, I'll show you guys the latest ones that I bought in Singapore where my family + boyfriend went for our Christmas vacay.
First is the cream loafers from Charles and Keith. Note that all the shoes I bought are on sale!!! This one hurt my feet a bit the first time I used it but after a while, it acutally expanded which is great! It fits well and looks great too.
Cute right? Problem is it gets dirty easily and not much padding.
Next two shoes are from Hush Puppies. Super comfy shoes and stylish too!
Next shoe is from Melissa. Was actually lost and was looking for another store when we chanced upon a shop that sells Melissa. Good thing I had my size and it was on sale!
The cut-out part was a bit weird but cute. I love the color and the bow detail!
Next up is the cute blue slingbacks from The Little Things She Needs.
Suuuper duper comfy but doesn't have much padding. Very affordable too.
Last but not the least, shiny shimmering blue flats from a small "tiangge" in Vivo City Mall.
Design is both modern and tribal-y because of the shape. Cute, no?
So I got 6 pairs of shoes and super happy!
Thoughts? What did you shop for during this sale season? Spill!

Nude is Cool!
Was browsing through omg.yahoo.com this afternoon when I spotted Kim Kardashian's nude platform heels. After work, I headed home and researched the brand and style. I discovered that these are actually the Christian Louboutin Lady Daf 160mm.
At first when i only saw the front view, I thought they were wedges. After seeing other pictures, the red sole became a giveaway. Too easy.
They are huge! Anywayyy, I also spotted Jamie Chung from Sucker Punch in Nylon's Anniversary Party wearing something similar to Kim K's shoes. Again, the front view tricked me into believing they were the same pair because it turned out to be Giuseppe Zanotti wedges.
From experience, I know that wedges are easier to use because it's more stable - but with this pair, I think it's just as hard as any stiletto. Good luck girlies!
I'm leaning towards the wedges more than the Louboutins because they look chunkier and edgy. On the other hand, the Louboutin heels are for more sophisticated get ups. WAA! But I love them both!!!
Take your pick!

Melissa Patchuli: Possibly The Most Comfortable 5-inch Heels...Ever!
I've been wearing shoes since I was in high school. Started from 2-inch heels, then tried 3-inch heels, got comfortable with 4-inch heels and now, enjoying the sexiness of 5-inch heels. I usually get my fix from Aldo, Schutz, CMG and now MELISSA SHOES.
The BF wanted to buy some Vibram FiveFingers Komodo. We headed to Rockwell last Saturday to check out if it's already available.
It took him about 2 hours (movie time!) to decide whether he will buy it or not. I actually had to push him to buy it and to "live a little". So on our way back to the store to buy it, I spotted the amazing Melissa shoes at Anthem and I did not hesitate to check them out. There were a couple of styles there, not as comprehensive as the online store but of course, it's better to buy in stores because you can check your size especially if it's your first time to buy Melissa shoes.
I've heard of Melissa shoes back when I was still in college. I went for the cheap knock offs because of course I couldn't afford the real one and I was sure my parents wouldn't buy me a pair. Now that I have saved a bit, I could proudly buy a pair of shoes from my own hardwork.
So what did the BF get for me as an early birthday gift?
Meet Patchuli. I don't know where that name came from but after some research, it's actually a heavy kind of perfume. By the way, if you have Melissa shoes, don't you notice how nice they smell?
It's a 5-inch wedge with a front platform which is beyond comfortable to wear. It doesn't irritate my skin or give me foot ache. I actually wore this to mass last Sunday and then went to S&R to buy some stuff for the house and then went out for dinner. That was around 4:30-9:00 in the evening and I used my Patchuli the whole time! Amazing.
This can actually glam up your simple look because of the striking stripe at the back.
This is also available in blue, red, black, brown and beige. It's also quite expensive at PHP4,599.

New Shoes from Aldo
Last week, I got the news from Purse and Co. that my orders have arrived. I got so excited because I've been waiting for them for a few months and I just can't wait to wear them. I ordered three pairs for this batch and they are all lovely except for one because of sizing issues.
The first pair I got is Aldo's Creger in Taupe. This is by far the best heels I bought from Aldo because they are super secure and super stable. I love the color, the fit and the style.
The second pair I got are flats and I got to use it today. It's super comfy, casual and versatile. I paired it with a polka-dot black and white dress and I love it! :)
P.S. My toe got injured the other day that's why it looks like that - not dead, but I think it bled. Yock.

EDIT: Okay, more like 90% Creger. Haha.

Now I'm lemming over these pairs. I don't know what to get. I love Creger in Taupe and I'm thinking about getting a pair in black. Or I could get Collicott in either Dark Brown or Bone. Decisions decisions. But I'm so in love with Creger so it's 70% Creger, 30% Collicott. HAHA!
