Chanel Rouge Coco in 19 Gabrielle

This is my first Chanel lipstick I got it from Duty Free where they sell it at a lower price. I saved around PHP500. I'm so glad I went with my parents to Duty Free.
I chose a very red color - not something I would wear but I decided to try something new rather than to stick with my pinks and nudes. Good thing Chanel cosmetics did not disappoint.
I got the lipstick for $27 in Duty Free. It's definitely cheaper beause when I checked online, it costs around $30-$32. I asked the SA for their best red lipstick and it was the 19 Gabrielle and I'm so happy with it. It doesn't dry my lips though it's a bit matte. It's supposed to me a hydrating creme lip color but it's not as creamy as I though. It's very pigmented and the color really pops. one swipe on my lower lip and that's enough even for my upper lip. Seriously, one swipe is all you need. The richness of the red isn't too cheap nor overpowering. It's just right. You just have to wear it with everything else muted because it's really very red. I love it.

I seriously don't know why the color doesn't register well in photos but in person, it really stands out.

Revlon PhotoReady in Shell, In2It Waterproof Eyebrow Colour, YSL Long-Lasting Whitening Powder Foundation #4
I took this photo a few hours after application and the color is still good. Stain is still there after a couple of hours. What I don't like about this is whenever I eat or drink, the inner area gets washed out and the outer area still has the stain. Haha. Because of that I need to reapply after a few hours but I don't mind because the color is just wonderful.

I love this Chanel lipstick.

Have a happy Saturday!
