Lip Glosses Galore!

Mom and I got actually 7 lip glosses from our relatives who came from US and London. These are what we got:

(L-R):
Neutrogena MoistureShine Gloss in Healthy Blush
Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in 070 Glossy Rose and 040 Nude Lustre
Clinique Vitamin C Lip Smoothie in 06 Pink Me Up
Rimmel Vinyl Gloss in 770 Paparazzi and 290 Be Famous


First is the Neutrogena MoistureShine Gloss in Healthy Blush. The brush is probably the softest I've ever tried. It's beyond soft. Well, it doesn't last that long though it's not as sticky as other lip glosses.


It's a soft pink color but when applied is very light, almost no color, just some shimmer.

The next is the Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Glosses. These are stickier compared to Neutrogena but has a longer staying power and is also a lot more pigmented.


These glosses could absolutely stand alone no need for lipstick underneath. However, I don't like the glitters because they spread throughout my face.

Nude LustreColors here aren't as accurate in person, especially the ones on the stick.

Next up is the Rimmel Vinyl Gloss. These aren't so sticky like the Revlon Glosses but I love the color because it go with all the pinks and nudes that I have. I love using the nude gloss with my nudest lipstick. I got Paparazzi and Be Famous.

Lastly, here's the Clinique Lip Smoothie in Pink Me Up.

This is a click pen and it's sticky like the Revlon but it's not as pigmented. It's kind of a darker pink with more glitter. I'm really not a fan of this. The click pen doesn't bother me that much, I kind of like it actually but the shimmer/glitter is annoying and it doesn't last that long.

Verdict: My favorites are the Rimmel lip glosses and the Neutrogena lip gloss because they're not too heavy on the lips, they're not too sticky and color is nice!

Clinique Lipstick Lip Swatches

When I was growing up, my mom would usually use Clinique cosmetics and beauty care like moisturizers, pressed powder, blush, etc. So when I saw that my auntie gave my mom some Clinique lipsticks, I had to try (and maybe steal them).

We got the Clinique High Impact in Plum Nude with SPF 15 (left) and Long Last Lipstick in Chianti (right).

Chianti is my favorite color. It's a dark red which could also be used in the day. I used it this afternoon when I went to the mall. Although the color doesn't stay that long on my lips, it stained a bit but I had to reapply every 2 hours.

We also got another lipstick but in a different packaging. I don't really know why. Maybe different manufacturing dates? When we got the green tubes, there were no boxes but it wasn't used as the sticks were flawless and smooth. Anyway, this is the Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Pink Spice. Out of the three, I really don't like this one because it's not pigmented, it took me three swipes to finally have color on my lips, which I don't like because it feels too thick already.

Overall, I like the first two lipsticks because they are wearable and very easy to apply. There is also no scent problem like other lipsticks.

YSL Long Lasting Eye Pencil #10

This is the #10 YSL Long Lasting Eye Pencil. I actually have a back up for this because I really really love this one. It's in a silver color, best for night wear. It's shiny but not glittery which I adore! This is best to mix with other colors especially for a smoky effect.

These are my top two favorites for eye pencils. I love black because it's a good base to mix with all other colors. For the silver/gray YSL, I love it because it's dark but not really. :) Sometimes, I actually use the YSL for daytime because it's not as heavy or dark as the black Chanel.

Btw, both comes in a box with sharpeners.

What I like about it:

1. Face Shop liners are very easy to put on, slides really well
2. Doesn't clot easily like other liners
3. Easy to sharpen
4. Really like the colors
5. No glitter/shimmer
6. Great by itself
7. Somewhat waterproof
   

What I don't like about it:

1. Texture is thick
   

Bobbi Brown

BB's Creamy Eye Pencil in Walnut 1

What I like about it:

1. True brown color
2. Comes with the corrector at the other end
   

What I don't like about it:

1. It really is a pencil so when the "woody" part touches your skin, it actually hurts
2. It's hard to sharpen
3. When you apply it, it's actually too light so you have to apply a few more times

Clinique Eye Defining Liquid Liner in in 03 Dark Brown

This is actually the best liner I've ever tried. I remember when I was trying to look for a liquid liner, I tried this one, MAC and other ones. I didn't like the MAC because it was too thick. Was supposed to buy one from Bobbi Brown but they only have gel liners. I wanted a portable one so I got this one. I actually wanted to buy it in black but it looked to heavy that's why I bought it in brown. Will get another one of these when I get the chance! Another thing I like about this is it doesn't dry up easily while still in the can.

So that's what's in my beauty loot which I bring with me everyday!
