Guerlain Ombre Eclat Eyeshadow in L'Instant Nuit 182 & L'Instant Coquin 160

Remember the Citibank Bazaar I went to? Well, I think it's time I made a review on the Guerlain eyeshadows!

This afternoon, I was supposed to go to Glorietta, Greenbelt and SM for a little bit of shopping. Mom gave me a few SM GCs and I wanted to use them to buy some cover-ups, cosmetics and whatnots. However, I suddenly became sleepy and decided not to go. I already had my make-up done. I just slept face-up. Haha! TMI!

I was gunning for a simple look because it's hot outside and didn't want to use too much make-up. I was wearing a gray and black combo so I wanted to have a gray-black smokey shadow for my eyes. I initially thought of black eyeliner but then I remembered I have new single eyeshadows from Guerlain.

I'm so happy this registered well on my camera. This is a gray-green color with gold shimmer! Yes - it's gold shimmer. What I like about this is the glitters don't scatter or go to your under eye. There's a lot of product in this single eyeshadow. A regular MAC eyeshadow has 1.5g/0.05oz while this has 3.6g/0.12oz. So yes, Guerlain is usually more expensive - very expensive but what you're getting is a lot more. I know that some colors are very dupe-able but since I got this in a sale (like PHP500-600), I did not think twice.

I really love Guerlain's packaging. They have the cutes and most sophisticated packaging.

Here are the pictures of the eyeshadow on me. I'm no make-up expert so don't judge! Hehe :)

I also bought another one but in a very light color - I only use it as a base.

This is a very light pink but very layer-able.

What do you think? Would you try this product? I think this retails for $36 per color but they also have quads and palettes. As for me, I would definitely buy but not for the retail price.
