Guerlain Lingerie De Peau Foundation

Lately, I haven't  been wearing liquid foundations because it's been really humid and I just can't stand liquid make-up melting on my face. I usually just wear powder foundation, blush and lipstick. But now that rainy season is upon us, I can wear my medium coverage foundations. My favorite is Guerlain Lingerie De Peau Foundation Invisible Skin-Fusion Foundation. My shade is number 31 (Ambre Pale).

What I like about this foundation is it's light, finish is almost matte but not too "fake matte". It's has the dewy-slash-glowy effect. It's not as runny like Urban Decay's Naked foundation. My applicator of choice is my new Real Techniques Foundation Blush. It's the first time I used the brush and it was really good! Anyway, that's for another review.

I still don't have a photo wearing the foundation because I always forget (sorry!) but I promise to update this with a photo. I've used up a third of the bottle and I dread finishing this up because it's expensive. I shall hoard during the outlet sale (yes, there is one!). Honestly, I wouldn't buy this if it wasn't on sale because it's just too damn expensive. I would rather try out other brands but the quality of this foundation makes me think twice!

Anyway, have you tried this? Will you?

Revlon PhotoReady Foundation

I got mine from PCX in Rockwell. It's SRP is 900+, I just can't remember exactly how much. I've had this product for maybe a month and I had the time today to make a review, so here goes.

I've read so many raves about this foundation and how it really works. I got excited about this when Holly made a review about this. There's really nothing more to say about this product. All the raves and rants were already said. Let the pictures do the talking.

A close-up shot, no make-up, bare face.
Right after applying moisturizer and then PR foundation
+ MAC Viva Glam Gaga, no photo retouch
I also used PR Foundation during my birthday, no photo re-touch whatsoever

I am definitely impressed with the photos right after applying the foundation. That wasn't set yet with powder. Just the PR Foundation and then Lipstick.

I know this is a bit pricey for a drugstore brand but I could use this everyday if the results are this amazing.

Bobbi Brown's Concealer, Foundation and Paul & Joe's Eye Primer

Bobbi Brown Foundation

This is what I usually put on my face for a base or foundation but not all the time. Since it's too hot outside, I usually don't put on foundation. So, if you're curious why I only have sample size of this one, it's because I have a lot of it. I think I have a handful more of this one. Since I rarely use foundation, I still have a lot of stock that's why I haven't bought any yet.

Love, love this one. It's creamy enough for the face and it really covers up well especially after a few hours, you'll really see the difference! Just make sure you get the color right!

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer in Beige
Hands down, the best concealer I have ever tried. Before, I actually said that I want to change it and try something else. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything as good as this one. This is the first ever concealer I've ever tried and I will stick with it until the last stock! Hehe :) There's actually another packaging for this which comes with a loose powder and a small foam. I super like the loose powder but it was too bulky and plus, I have my YSL powder so I don't really need that anymore. Plus, it has a mirror as big as the concealer itself. Love!!!

Paul and Joe Eye Color Primer in 02Back label

This primer is actually as good as an eye brightener. The color is perfect on my skin and I love how it brightens my eyes and also locks in color for my eyes. Plus, it smells great which I adore!

YSL Long-Lasting Whitening Powder Foundation #4

Used side of sponge

Back label
This is one of two powders I use. I like this because it's compact and also refillable. I haven't tried to refill it since I haven't finished my first pack yet. The color of this powder is perfect on my face. I bought this in Rustan's cosmetics section and asked the sales lady to help me choose the best color for me. This was on sale, by the way! I wouldn't even know it if I didn't approach the lady.

What I like about this:
  1. It's definitely not cakey
  2. It's light and doesn't make you look too white
  3. Sponge included is soft and not harsh on skin
  4. Refillable
What I don't like about this:
  1. Too expensive for its regular price
First time I got this, I didn't waste time! I took it out of the box immediately, tried to use it on my fave and the results were amazing. I would buy this again!
